Regardless of age, all baptized persons are invited to the Lord’s Table to receive his holy sacrament. The Lutheran Church believes that the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is in, with, and under the bread and wine as instituted by Christ himself for Christians to eat and drink. Through this sacrament we receive forgiveness for our sins. The body and blood nourish us in our spiritual and physical lives to share God’s loving witness with those in the world. Though it is not a prerequisite to receiving communion, a class is usually offered on a Saturday morning in March for elementary age children and their parents to learn more about this mystery of our faith. Please contact the pastor for details.
