In our baptism, God receives us as God’s children and we are sent to do God’s work in the world. First Lutheran reaches out to our neighbor both near and far. We work with those in our local community, surrounding states, and also internationally with global ministries. We partner with both Lutheran World Relief (ELCA) and local organizations. Our Neighborhood Task Team (NTT) works locally to engage with those living in our community. This group encourages us to be the face of Christ, the hands of God, throughout Chambersburg.
